Zondervan lawsuit filer linked to Obama campaign

The plot thickens related to the homosexual activist who is suing Zondervan for $60M because the word “homosexual” appears in its Bible translations.  Barack Obama’s official campaign website has posted Bradley Fowler’s explanation of why he is suing Zondervan under the heading, “Overcoming Religious Injustice Is Not As Easy As the Bible Says.”

Is the Obama campaign behind suing a religious publisher because it’s translation of the Bible is deemed politically incorrect?

UPDATE: Fowler has filed a separate lawsuit against Thomas Nelson Publishers: http://dockets.justia.com/search?query=Bradley+LaShawn+Fowler&search=Search&stateorcourt=court-miedce&lawsuittype=&documentfilter=allcases&cases=mostrecent&min-day=1&min-month=1&min-year=2004&max-day=9&max-month=7&max-year=2008

UPDATE 2: Jordan Ballor at the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids points me to this disclaimer on the Obama Campaign website: “Content on blogs in My.BarackObama represents the opinions of community members and in no way should be interpreted as endorsed or approved by the campaign.”

I have a request for comment from the Obama Campaign pending.
