They say that a presidential candidates’ choice of his running mate is the greatest indicator of his decision-making prowess. What has Obama told us in choosing Senator Joe Biden?
He has admitted to the country that he himself lacks the experience to be president, so he has chosen a seasoned senator to be his running mate.
He has reaffirmed his radical left worldview, choosing a running mate who is as liberal as he is on social issues.
He has revealed his weakness on foreign policy, chosing a senator with extensive experience on the Senate Foreign Affairs committee. (What does it say about Obama that the president of Georgia has requested a meeting with JOE BIDEN to discuss the situation there?)

It’s clear from your consistantly respectful tone that you are concerned with the issues and I greatly appreciate that. I hope the little bit of needling I give you is taken as it is meant, all in good fun.
We have differences of opinions, but it’s also clear that we both have a passion for our core beliefs as well as our relationship to the Lord Himself. As long as we pray for each other and pray that all of our conversation brings honor and glory to Him, even our differences show that there is a unity of love and respect between brothers in Christ. I’m looking forward to a lot more conversations (with a few knock down drag outs thrown in for good measure!), my friend!

Contrary to how he’s positioned me at times with the others spouting “leftist propaganda”, what I really care about here is that all parties are treated honestly and fairly and with respect, agree or disagree. Everything else is just noise that makes it more difficult to get down to the real truth.
Sometimes the “penetrating analysis” goes too far. To call Obama the Antichrist or an antichrist is over the top and unhelpful. A lot of what he says resonates with me as being more aligned with kingdom values than McCain, but that doesn’t mean I’m compelled to vote for either of them, nor am I persuaded that Jesus would align himself with either one.

When my son and I watch the Tigers, we’ve made a practice of acknowledging when the other team makes a good play, even if we didn’t like the fact that it went against the Tigers. “Gotta give him his props” we say.
So… do you see anything positive to admit about this choice? Seemed pretty savvy to me.
