  1. McCains pick of Sarah Palin is a good one, I loved todays radio program. I admit that I am now a Happy Republican. I was planning to vote Repub, mostly because I think they slow down the Lemming’s rush over the cliff. I can now Happily vote Repub, expecting that slow down to be more dramatic. If McCain wins, do I expect a turn around? Only God knows, but I doubt it. I don’t put much hope in politics.

  2. Joel…

Now would that be to bring cultural enlightenment, or help your Dad when he finds himself beyond pay grade…? Musically of course…*; )

  3. 1. My posts reflect my personality. I am a political junkie…

    2. I hope there is no sin in that.

Is #2 beyond beyond your “pay grade”…*: )

  4. Politics R Us,

The blog appears to be consumed with politics of late because of the number of short posts I am putting up in “real time” response to political developments.

b/Bo is right. Stick around, and we’ll be back to “normal” after the election, but I will do my best over the next few weeks to broaden the “culture” part of the blog beyond politics.

My posts reflect my personality. I am a political junkie. I hope there is no sin in that.

  5. Politics R Us, there was some culture in here, but when Paul posts his 27 or so quick blog entries at a time while watching TV, the good posts get pushed back a few pages. Surf around and stick around, I’m sure you’ll find some more edifying stuff.

  6. I have to say I am depressed, I hate politics, and there is nothing but that here. Moderate me out, I deserve it. This could easily be called the God And Politics Blog.

  7. Well, just like the news reports this Obama speech discussion was lost in the Palin posts. If it is OK I will post here. I did not watch it last night but I have to say, listening to him and his policies, I am more left leaning than I thought. I thought he nailed it on so many fronts. I still proclaim centrism but on issues of poverty, keeping Jobs, not giving breaks to companies that ship jobs, republican bootstraps, environment, defending only where necessary, staying focused on defense. All those issues he nailed it for me. It doesn’t ensure a vote but I honestly think that things might improve if he were to get in office. He is a politician and that involves many promises that often times cannot be fulfilled but even the right has to admit, the man can speak. McCain is going to have a really hard time keeping up with him in debates.

  8. Consolidate…a wonderful word…now we have it…news and sports (the two concepts I dislike the most) all in one thought…Keeps me from wasting too much time on either….*: )
