I am glad that Huck and Romney are putting Guliani in the (hopefully) “has been” category but the press is focusing way too much on their faith. The faith of a person should be the last qualifier of a persons ability to lead. Faith is a good thing to live ones life by but as we have see with this administration faith is can also be very deceptive. I also think that often times faith allow people to “give a free pass” on issues. ie If a leader wants to do something then he should since he is “lead by the Lord”. This is the reason why I like Ron Paul, he doesn’t wear his christianity on his sleeve to get votes. He simply speaks the truth no matter who his audiance is. He may lose popularity amongst a group of voters but he will stick to his principle to do so. That is true leadership.
