Can you hear the pundits’ reaction this morning if Hillary Clinton had garnered 91% of the White vote in North Carolina (Clinton garnered 61% of the White vote according to CNN)? The spin would focus on race relations in America and how White Americans harbor racism, refusing to bring themselves to vote for a black man for president.
Yet Barack Obama takes 91% of the Black vote in North Carolina and not one serious commentator dares to suggest that Black Americans are harboring racism, refusing to bring themselves to vote for a White woman for president.
Why do African-Americans continue to get away with racist behavior in this country?

You are right, the proclaimation of Alan Keyes was a bit premature, I thought it was a done deal but it wasn’t. Chuck Baldwin did win the Constitution Party nomination and has a lot of great positions on the issues, however, he has very strong stances on other issues that no president could keep. Thanks for point that out as I didn’t provide the update info. There is always Bob Barr from the libertarian party….

You might be surprised to know that I usually follow all the links that you provide and after your post on Alan Keyes, I actually checked out his web site and watched just about all of his videos. I also have checked out Chuck Baldwin and found him very interesting. The list of all the things he intends to accomplish is very impressive indeed. However, after reading and considering possiblities, I think writing in Jack Bauer would be just as effective.

I don’t think this is a Black/White issue…I think it has to do with MIND RENEWAL. Actually the final solution will need to be Global. Somewhere it is written that a Global Solution is on the way. Maranatha Lord Jesus.

I thought that democracy was in play here. Maybe the black voters have seen the utter hypocrisy in the Clinton camp? Maybe the black voters see, like I do, that Clinton was acting like more of a republican then the republican nominee. Maybe, they finally see this country in the light that it should have years ago, where no matter of race, creed, or faith a person should be voted for because he is a solid leader and one that cares about the real issues in this country like, unfettered corporatism, destruction of the environment, a national debt that will cripple the next generation, ending an illegal occupation and countless other issues that this administration has failed us on.
Being a former righty, I don’t know how anyone could consider the 3rd term of Bush in McCain. If you don’t like dems maybe a third party is the answer. Chuck Baldwin (formally in the moral majority) is the nominee for the constitution party; it might be a good alternative.
