Yes, nothing said “stop wasteful spending” quite like buying millions of packets of tea. I’m all for protest and such…but where were the tea party people when we were shelling out billions for an unnecessary war instead of tending to the economy?
This bird is just a left over from the 60’s. Remember boys, I lived when Woodstock was a event, not a yellow bird and Elvis was sin rather than king.
How about Newt as an independent next time around? Better yet, how about droping this “replacment” thinking and looking up for a real change in government policy.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Evidently, “denial” is not just a river in Egypt. Mr. Wolcott can downplay these rallies all he wants, but this massive spending and borrowing by the federal government has finally struck a cord in the minds of millions of Americans. I believe this is only the beginning. People are finally doing the math. Our “leaders” are pouring gasoline on a fire and people are finally recognizing that fact.
