A closeup just now of Bill Clinton repeatedly mouthing, “I love you” as Hillary took the podium. Reminiscent of his “tear-wiping” episode walking away from Ron Brown’s funeral laughing with Tony Campolo until he looked up just in time to see a camera and quickly changed to weeping mode.

That’s not Brown’s funeral, but the memorial service the day before; not a Secret Service man, as Rush Limbaugh originally presumed and continued to suggest, but Born Again Christian theologian Tony Campolo!
As Fernando, from SNL used to say, “It is always better to look good, than to feel good!” (You know, somehow it just isn’t the same without the audio!)
I guess that’s pretty good…Now he’s gotta be sure where the mic is….and be able to tell whether it is on or off….Maybe a pleasant look and a closed mouth is the answer.
