Glenn Beck recently called for a “Mock Obama Day” in response to the outcry over a rodeo clown wearing an Obama mask and subsequently having to quit his job.

Mocking our president is not the duty of a responsible citizenry. It is especially not what God expects of Christians.

In response to Mr. Beck’s call to mock the president, the Center for the Study of God & Culture is calling on all Americans, and especially Christians, to pray for our president this coming Friday, August 16. We’re asking you to commit just 5 minutes that day to hold up our president before the throne of grace, that God will give him wisdom and strength to carry out the duties of his office faithfully.
