Sorry for the double entry, the 1st one took several hours to post and I thought it was lost. It is hard to say it any stronger than the old hymns do. I suppose it has a lot to do with the tribulations many of these writers of old had to go through. “Tribulation worketh patience” and also draws a soul closer to God. Happy Easter all, may our Lord grant us all a refreshed spirit and a renewed commitment to the service to the King of Kings.
