Nice touch…mentioning the Arkansas Democrat chair who was murdered two weeks ago, and the Cleveland-area congresswoman who died suddenly last week of a brain aneurysm, but true to form she quickly connects their deaths\u00a0to George Bush!<\/p>\n

She’s giving her stump speech now. Health care, jobs, end the war, bring home the troops, educate our children, make college affordable, etc. “I ran to stand up for those who have been invisible to their government for eight long years….”<\/p>\n

This is actually an excellent speech, notwithstanding the ideological differences I have with Senator Clinton. She has given some very compelling reasons for her supporters to support Obama. She has said everything she needs to say, all of which will be answered ably by the McCain campaign.<\/p>\n

When you get beyond the soaring rhetoric, you’re left with the feeling that no matter how much progress\u00a0 women and minorities\u00a0have made and will make, it\u00a0will never be enough progress.
