J. Gagnon<\/a><\/strong> is Professor of New Testament Theology at Houston Baptist University. Previously he was a tenured Associate Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, teaching there for 23 years (1994-2017). He has a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College, an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is also an ordained elder at a Presbyterian Church (USA) in Pittsburgh. He is the author of&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Bible-Homosexual-Practice-Texts-Hermeneutics-ebook\/dp\/B0071OSK6O\">The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;(Nashville: Abingdon Press, 2001) co-author (with Dan O.
