James Emery White is the founding and senior pastor of Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, North Carolina; President of Serious Times, a ministry which explores the intersection of faith and culture and hosts\u00a0churchandculture.org<\/a><\/strong>; ranked Adjunctive Professor of Theology and Culture at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, which he also served as their fourth president; and author of over a dozen books which have been translated into ten languages.<\/p>\n

Ron Highfield is Professor of Religion at Pepperdine University. He teaches upper division courses in systematic and historical theology and a general studies course in Christianity and culture. Ron served in the ministry\u2014in preaching, youth and campus ministry\u2014for many years before becoming a professor. He serves presently as an elder in the University Church of Christ, which meets on the campus of Pepperdine University.<\/p>\n
