MSNBC’s Anti-Christian Ticker

MSNBC is running a ticker that reads “Evangelical Christians vaulted Mike Huckabee to victory and rejected Romney.”

Could you imagine, if Romney had won Iowa, MSNBC running a ticker that read “Mormons vaulted Mitt Romney to victory and rejected Huckabee.”

Why is anti-Christian stereotyping tolerated in the MSM?

I ask you again, Who is it you are looking to for truth? The Right has a beef with evangelicals also. Too much spoken, not enough done. As I alluded to before, I find no beef with Christ. Here is a suggestion. One of the last times I spent a Christmas holiday in the Detroit area, my brother and I went to the Detroit Rescue Mission and offered our services to those in need there. Pontiac is a second good place to to go also. Let the change begin with you and I. These are two folks we do have control over. This is where the rubber of real Christianity meets the road. Haven’t you figured it out yet? You can always rely on man, any man, to be UNRELIABLE, (all of our righteousness are as filthy rags, it is only the Imputed Righteousness of Christ that has any value). The song writer of old wrote; “Turn your eyes upon Jesus” Even family will turn on you at any given time, we are all the same. I have committed great wrong in my lifetime and can testify that there is truly a “friend that sticketh closer than a brother” in Christ. You have Him, avail yourself of Him. My advise is; don’t sweat the election, the powers that be are ordained of God, vote as you are lead and move on. I have witnessed the far left to the far right in power and can tell you Jesus is still the answer.!
Lord bless you. Good to hear from you.

  2. Don,

I think the example of George Bush’s “Christianity” has soured the left more than anything. Even me being a christian am leary of a person running for office wearing his faith on his sleeve.
The left has a justified beef with evangelicals and their unfettered support of the Right with all the scandles, ignoring the less fortunate in this country, destroying our environment by removing corperate regulations and waging unjustified, illegal war for a countries Oil reserves. I am an evangelical, but I stand for truth, even if it means standing with the left on certain issues.

Do you think perhaps, the left does not like him due to his relationship with Christ?

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

There is no other name in history that divides like this one.

  4. Paul,

here is the article about Huck and push polling, but I am sure you will not believe it since it is from the Huffington Post.
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/12/18/huckabee-pushpolling-con_n_77418.html

My point on the political right is, there are tactics which huck is deploying, I didn’t say he was in line as much as he is using their questionable tactics. The left doesn’t like Huck because he is not for pulling on Iraq and he thinks the world started 6,000 years ago. To the left this is akin to being mentally unstable. The right doesn’t like him because he did many “liberal” things with regards to taxes and immegration while governor in Ark.

Huck has a long road to hoe, you cannot win with the evangelical vote alone in this country.

  5. Pixelmaster,

Have you ever drank the MSM Kool-Aid on Huckabee! The ticker didn’t merely say that evangelicals helped Huckabee win. It stated that evangelicals voted for Huckabee as a vote AGAINST Romney and his Mormonism. THAT is the anti-Christian bias.

Evangelicals in Iowa voted FOR Huckabee, not AGAINST Romney. The ticker implies that Christians are BIGOTS because they didn’t vote for Romney, which has been Romney’s strategy since he delivered his “Faith in America” speech.

Evidence, please, that “Huck is engaging in push polls.” As for his theological degree, he misspoke, something I’m sure you have never done. And how many “convicted felons” constitutes “a multitude”? The facts are Huckabee applied his Christian faith to the decisions he made as governor. Sometimes his heart overruled his head. There are no perfect candidates.

And if Huckabee is “right in line with the political right,” why is the political right lined up AGAINST him?

  6. The point of the post is that Paul is pointing out how the “MSM” is AntiChristian for reporting that the evagelicals are helping Huck win. The report is true, they are, evangelicals like sheep, follow what their trusted leaders tell them. Huck is their favorite guy now, even though Huck is engaging in push polls, while saying he will refuse to run a negative campaign, he says he has a thoelogical degree when he does not, he lets multitudes of convicted felons off the hook even though the victims beg him not too. Huck is not what he is cracked up to be and he is using his religion to warm the hearts of the gullible evangelicals to get their vote. It is a long running tactic of the Right. Read David Kuo’s book (Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction) on how the political right uses faith based inititives to dupe the religious right for their vote. It’s disgusting and I personally think Huckabee is right in line with the political right on these tactics.

  7. Once again, MSNBC reports the truth, the evangelicals DID help Huck win, why do you think he keeps using that card in his commercials?
